In the framework of the EU-funded SAFE project, Campus France and PAUSE (hosted by the Collège de France) are organising a seminar in Paris on June 10th-11th 2026. This event will explore current European policies and trends on supporting researchers at risk, enable participants to develop their professional skills, offer opportunities for networking and share updates on the SAFE project.

Designed as a forum for researchers and host institutions involved in the SAFE project, this seminar will be the opportunity to exchange good practice, experience and ideas and to identify ways of supporting researchers at risk, including by enhancing their future career prospects. It will also be the opportunity to advocate in order to strengthen Europe’s position as a safe place for researchers at risk.

The SAFE researchers are expected to participate in this seminar, as well as one representative from their respective host institutions. The participation costs (i.e. travel, accommodation and per diem) shall be covered under the SAFE contribution for Research, Training and Networking costs received by each host institution.
